Gucci Mane Did Not Insult Judge in Court

Hoax Alert: Gucci Mane Did Not Insult Judge in Court

Here's the hoax, according to a screengrab going around the Internet: When asked in court whether he was guilty of assaulting a soldier, the rapper (real name Radric Davis) supposedly told a judge in court, "Bitch I might be."
But no, he didn't say that. A mystery jokester took the real image of the rapper in court from Fox's news report and edited it to say "Rapper Gucci Mane responds with 'Bitch I might be' when asked if guilty," instead of the actual headline, which stated, "Prosecutors brought up rapper's criminal history."The line is actually a lyric from his song, "Pillz (Bitch I Might Be)."
Last week, the rapper was indicted on one count of aggravated assault, E! News confirmed. The Spring Breakers actor was accused of assaulting a soldier March 16 with a champagne bottle at an Atlanta nightclub, and the following day Mane turned himself into the police.

The Internets was going wild this morning, saying Gucci Mane told a judge, "B-tch, I might be," when asked if he was guilty of hitting a soldier upside the head with a champagne bottle. However, it turns out that believers of this perfectly feasible LaFlare action, considering his familiarity with the bing, have been catfished.
Hollywood.com reports:
What does the rapper have to say about all this? According to a probably (definitely) fake photo that was shared on Reddit and ran rampant on Twitter Wednesday morning, when a judge asked if he was guilty, the Spring Breakers star replied with: "B-tch I might be."
If only it were real.
Not only is the phrase a lyric to Mane's song "Pillz (B-tch I Might Be)," but I'm pretty positive that Fox wouldn't display the uncensored word "B-tch" on its banner. Oh well. Major props to the photo's creator for sparking all of our imaginations.
And there you have it.
Nevertheless, Gucci is back in the clink after getting re-arrested just a day after posting bond for the aforementioned assault case. Check out the allegedly doctored clip on the next page.
